Location, Location, Location

Choosing a location for your upcoming session is, in my opinion, the most important component in getting a gallery full of images you’ll absolutely LOVE! When thinking about a location, you’ll want to ask yourself, ‘what kind of images do I want hanging on my walls in my home?’ Think about colors, mood and design. If you have a bright modern house that is heavy on angles and contemporary design, you may want to consider manicured spaces like you can find on South Congress. Or maybe your home is warm and homey with more of a bohemian feel… you could go for more of a rural, hill country feel.

Also, do you want a nod to a location that has a significant meaning to you and loved ones… Maybe where your spouse asked you to marry them? First dates, favorite park, fishing like you always did with Dad…you get the picture 😉

SOUTH CONGRESS AVENUE

YOUR HOME

**What better way to capture your family than in the home you’re living life in? Another plus is that everyone feels genuinely comfortable**, **and that always makes for some great photos!**

LE SAN MICHELE

This hidden gem, located in Buda, hosts a ton of class and old world charm. The beautiful gardens, nestled around pops of blue, make for gorgeous backdrops wherever you venture on this property. Current rental rate as of May 2021 is $60/hour.

VISTA BREWING

This gorgeous location has amazing backlight, lush trees, tall grass and beautiful flowers in the spring. Grab a brew before your shoot and stay afterwards to watch some live music for a truly unique photoshoot experience! Based on location availability.

STAR HILL RANCH

With so many amazing backdrops to choose from, this has become a client favorite! For a nod to old world, rustic charm, this place will not disappoint.
Rental rates for this venue fluctuate between $65-$125 depending on dates and times.

ROGER HANKS PARK

For that soft rural look with beautiful backlight, this location fits the bill every time!

OUTDOOR SPACES AT SEAHOLM AND AUSTIN PUBLIC LIBRARY

An amazing location for the modern family. Beautiful architecture, well manicured greenery and cool, art like structures!

MERCER STREET IN DRIPPING SPRINGS

If you live in Dripping, this can be a perfect location to give a nod to your ever evolving hometown. And if you don’t live here, that’s okay!!
This location offers country charm like no other.

THE DOMAIN NORTHSIDE | ROCK ROSE

With fresh, clean lines and pops of color, The Domain is the perfect spot for that cool urban feel that has become so popular! Reservations are required and can take some time, so it is wise to make arrangements a month in advance.

BRUSHY CREEK

Located in North Austin, this has always been one of my favorite spots. The beautiful backlight, lake and tall grass with seasonal blossoms never disappoint!

BUDA MILL AND GRAIN

If you’re looking for that rustic mod look, this is your spot! Such an eclectic space located in Buda, Texas!

COMMONS FORD

This gorgeous park is the full meal deal, y’all! Rustic barn, huge oak tree (not pictured), backlight for days, dock and river (small hike to get to it) and beautiful tall grass. This spot has so much to offer!

LAGUNA GLORIA

This venue hosts so much class and charm. A beautiful spot for a time honored family photo session. 2021 venue rental is $100/hour.

STONE HOUSE RANCH

This lovely wedding venue in Dripping Springs is one of my faves! Wonderful backdrops for the perfect family session. Venue is based on availability and is $50/hr.

RAMBLING ROSE RANCH

Rambling Rose is a beautiful wedding venue located at Fitzhugh and Hwy 290. With so many backdrops to choose from, it’s no wonder it’s a client favorite! And sometimes we get to see horses and other farm animals (not guaranteed). Rental is $100/hr and based on availability.

PROSPECT HOUSE

Sekrit Theater

With so many unique backdrops and funky feels, it’s no wonder clients keep coming back to this location time and time again. From a beautiful Greenhouse to old timey cars and a shotgun house from New Orleans, you will always be discovering new things at Sekrit Theater! Rentals start at $145/hr.

These locations are just a few that are available in and around Austin! Please inquire within for more choices based on your particular vision and needs. I’m scouting all the time and willing to travel up to 30 miles from Dripping Springs at no charge. Travel charges incur beyond 30 miles. Price depends on location.
